I have been working on some pen and ink drawings of a variety of invertebrates to make tailor-made bookmarks for my extensive library of reference books.

These have proved popular with friends so I am making them available to download for free for personal and non-commercial use so you can print off your own sheet. The images remain the copyright of Vanna Bartlett.

There are five bookmarks to a page. When printed on A4 paper the bookmarks need to be cut out and trimmed to size.

They should be printed in greyscale on fairly thick paper (minimum of 300 gsm) and you can experiment with different colours of paper. White works fine but pale buff would look good too.

So far, I have been concentrating on arachnids with two sets of harvestmen bookmarks, one of Jumping Spiders (Salticidae) and, my favourite, Book Scorpions (Cheridium museorum).
